'Quantum of Solace' reaps $3.7 mil in India


November 11, 2008 Sony Pictures Releasing India said Tuesday that "Quantum of Solace" racked up $3.69 million in its first weekend, the second-biggest opening for a Hollywood film playing in India. The 22nd installment in the 007 franchise, "Quantum" was released here on 575 prints, including versions dubbed into Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.
