Vantage unearths 'Lake Mungo'


November 14, 2008 Paramount Vantage is getting into the remake business, developing a feature redo of the Australian horror film "Lake Mungo," which premiered at AFM. "Keeping with the Vantage tradition of releasing edgy and unique films, 'Lake Mungo' is a supernatural mystery that goes beyond the typical horror fare," Vantage president Nick Meyer said. Vertigo Entertainment's Roy Lee and Doug Davison along with Adrian Guerra and Joel Anderson, the film's original creator and director, brought the project to Vantage and are set to produce.
