Belgacom sells H.K., China arms of Telindus


November 18, 2008 Belgium's dominant telecom operator Belgacom said Monday that it sold the Hong Kong and Chinese arms of its IT services unit Telindus to Easynet Global Services, part of British pay TV firm BSkyB. Both the Telindus and Easynet groups provide information technology services to companies and government organizations. Telindus CEO Michel De Coster added in the joint statement that Easynet will remain a preferred partner of Telindus for serving customers in that region.
